Helping the Struggling Population


Providing Social Support and Opportunities

Boston Academy, Inc. is a community service organization in Seattle, WA that specializes in providing healthcare education, community education, mental health programs, and other social support and opportunities for the struggling population in the District of Columbia. These people include at-risk families and children and the disadvantaged, adjudicated, and diverse disabled members of the community.

What Have We Done?

  • We were the lead entity in getting 17 million to build a new center in 2017.
  • We started a summer camp for 30 kids with DPR in 2013.
  • We started the annual Edgewood Basketball Tournament.
  • We held monthly cleanups and social skills for teens.
  • We help the youth get summer jobs at Edgewood Recreation Center.

  • We sponsored community service hours for returning citizens and the youth.
  • We help social groups for young women on the rise.
  • We partnered with community groups’ community activities.
  • We were the Park Partner (Friends of Rec) for 2013 and 2014.
